Is Little Dreams DR a nonprofit?
Yes. Little Dreams DR, Inc. is a New York not-for-profit corporation. Our earnings can't benefit any individual, and our surplus funds our charitable work in the Dominican Republic.
What is the Social Care Network program?
It's a New York State Medicaid program that connects members to help with health-related social needs, like food, housing and transportation. Services are free for eligible members.
Who can get help?
New York Medicaid members who screen as having an unmet need, such as not having enough food or stable housing. Some services are limited to specific groups. Our team can screen you and connect you to the right place.
Where does your support in the Dominican Republic go?
To children and families in need, as toys, school supplies, clothing, food and household essentials, delivered in person and through local partners.
Do I need to speak Spanish to work with you?
No, but bilingual English/Spanish candidates are strongly preferred for most roles because many of the families we serve speak Spanish at home.
