Rooted in the Bronx, connected to the Dominican Republic
Little Dreams DR, Inc. was founded in 2026 by a Bronx family with deep ties to the Dominican Republic, to serve families in both places.
Our mission
Meet basic needs, at home and abroad
Many New Yorkers on Medicaid qualify for help with food, housing and transportation through the state's Social Care Network program, but don't know it exists. We go out into the community, screen people for those needs and connect them to the program.
Because we're a nonprofit, the surplus from that work doesn't go to owners. It goes to children and families in the Dominican Republic, as toys, clothing, food and everyday essentials.
We serve families in English and Spanish, and we treat every family we meet with dignity and respect.

Our outreach team finds eligible New Yorkers, screens their needs and connects them to the Social Care Network program.

The program pays us for that work, which covers our staff, training and operations.
